My Top 5 Recommended Christian Books

Welcome, today I want to share my Top 5 recommended books for you guys. On the Picture I have only 4 books that's because the second book on this list I don't own. I got it at the library but I will get one to own sometime. I absolutely love to read. Unfortunately, I don't read a lot because I don't have much time. My schedule is a bit more flexible now so hopefully I will sneak in a few new books to read before the baby comes. Right now until our baby arrives, my husband and I have a goal to read 1 parenting book a month. I will do another post on our favorite parenting books once we've read at least a few.

Alright so lets begin.

1) Becoming a Contagious Christian by Bill Hybels and Mark Mittelberg.
     >I absolutely love this book and really recommend it. It's about establishing your character and finding out your evangelism style, and how to talk about spiritual matters to different people. One out of many things that I love about this book is that the author names multiple different examples which speak to different people. I think that is very cleaver.

2) Anger by Gary Chapman
     > This is an amazing author. I love the way he writes and I plan on reading all of his books. This is a great book to read. Even if, your are not struggling with anger, this is still a great book to read. He talks about what is good and bad anger, how to face anger and how to deal with anger. Great book. This was a very educational book for me. I actually really commend this for parents with all ages of kids but especially teens. This would even be a good book to give to your teen.

3) Fasting by Jantzen Franklin
     > This I can easily say is the most influential book for me. It was so encouraging and inspiring for me. He list many miracles that happened at his church because of prayer and fasting. I don't want to spoil it but its a must read.

4) The Love Dare Book
     > The title is pretty explanatory. My husband and I both did this. We loved it. It provides you with a love dare everyday that you do for your spouse.

5) Grace Based Parenting by Dr. Tim Kimmel
     > To start off I want to say I am not finished with this book but I wanted to put it in here because I love it a lot even though I'm not done all the way. Dr. Tim Kimmel teaches the Grace Based Parenting that should be in Christian homes. I recommend this to all parents.

If you have read any of these books, I would love to hear what you thought of them. I would love to hear your favorite books. Thanks for stopping by.
